Feeling lucky this year?

Online entry begins today for Travel Channel’s annual vacation giveaway, and the 2016 prize will send the winner and a guest on a whirlwind tour of the Caribbean.

The 11 night getaway — carrying an estimated price tag of $100,000 — includes luxury hotel accommodations on five Caribbean islands: Aruba, the Bahamas, Barbados, Guadeloupe and St. Lucia.

The winner gets a pair of first-class airline tickets to Nassau, Bahamas and a return flight from Aruba. In between, the lucky son of a gun gets a chance to go underwater and poke around the wreck of an old German warship, take a behind-the-scenes tour of Mount Gay Rum Distillery, swim with dolphins and soak in a volcano-fed hot springs mud bath, among other treats.

Between now and March 25, you can enter up to twice a day at Travelchannel.com/thetrip. (The online entry form asks for some basic info — name, phone number, birthdate — and offers the chance to sign up for a variety of e-newsletters, none of which is required for a chance to win.)

The five Caribbean destinations on the itinerary are the focus of an hour-long Travel Channel special, “The Trip: 2016,” premiering at 7 p.m. (Central) on Feb. 23.

    I’m impressed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s
both equally educative and entertaining, and without a doubt,
you’ve hit the nail on the head. The problem is an issue
that too few folks are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy that I found this during my search for something regarding this.
